How Healthy Is This Rawnola?
As you can see from the ingredients list below on the recipe card this rawnola is made with wholesome ingredients. Let’s discuss some…
Buckwheat groats are high in antioxidants including rutin and quercetin, which can protect against free radical damage, cancer, and heart disease. Additionally, it’s also high in fiber.
Oats are a great source of protein and fiber, and dates are high in B vitamins like thiamin, niacin, and riboflavin, which support the body’s ability to break down carbohydrates, produce energy, and maintain emotional stability. Dates also aid in digestion and waste elimination.
Nuts and seeds are high in protein, healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Due to their inadequate absorption of fats and their ability to regulate food intake, nuts and seeds are effective in regulating body weight. They offer protection against diabetes and heart disease due to their unsaturated fat content and other nutrients.
Serving/Using Rawnola
These are a few of my favorite uses and ways to eat RAWNOLA!
- Served with plant-based yogurt
- Drenched in plant-based milk and eaten as a cereal
- On top of your favorite ice cream
- Top a smoothie bowl or sliced fruit.
Indeed, this rawnola can be enjoyed in the same way as granola.

Recipe Notes
- As it does take some time, I suggest preparing a big batch of it on the weekend and enjoy throughout the week.
- Honestly, you can make this treat with anything you have!
- Replace the walnuts with pecans or pine nuts for cashews.Instead of using pumpkin seeds, add sunflower seeds or chia seeds.Take out the coconut flakes and add other dried fruit. I’ve used rolled oats, but you can also use quick-cooking oats.
- You can also substitute maple syrup with honey.
- You can add additional “flavors” to the rawnola, such as cacao powder or vanilla extract.
- It’s great for meal prep and keeps for about three weeks in the refrigerator within an airtight container.
